Amber-colored, the nose is very expressive, with aromas of melon, incense, and mineral accents. Its body is smooth and elegant. The wine is sweet on the palate, with lovely citrus notes and hints of honey, quince, and candied peaches. The aftertaste, long and extremely fresh, leaves impressions of overripe exotic fruits and white raisins.

Villa Vinea

… white wines from the best that Transylvania has to offer

Villa Vinèa, picturesquely situated on a gentle, south-southwest-facing hill, lies in the heart of the Târnava wine-growing region in Transylvania, directly above the small Târnava Mică river. The Târnava region is climatically one of the best white wine-growing regions in Romania. Villa Vinea's 60 hectares of vineyards, located 300-350 meters above sea level, are characterized by mineral-rich limestone, clay, and alluvial soils with high water-holding capacity and a pronounced, fertile humus content. The entire region benefits from a continental climate. Hot, dry summers with above-average sunshine and little rainfall alternate with cold, harsh winters. The long autumn with its cool nights contributes to the full, aromatic ripening of the grapes.

Tarnave-Tarnaven

The most important and oldest wine-growing region (also known as Tirnave) in Transylvania, central Romania. Most of the vineyards are located on steep mountain slopes along the Little Tarnava and Great Tarnava rivers, at elevations of up to 300 meters above sea level. The region is one of the coolest in Romania and is primarily known for its white wines with appealing acidity. Sparkling wines are also produced. The most common grape varieties areAlba Festival, Danasana (Royal Feast),Neuburger,Pinot Gris, Tamîioasa Ottonel (Muscat Ottonel),Sauvignon Blanc,TraminerandWelschriesling.
