Since 1996, we have been celebrating the now legendary "Lobster Number," essentially a wine and seafood feast, in many countries across Europe, Asia, and South Africa. This maritime-hedonistic spectacle is accompanied by seven wines from a variety of origins and grape varieties, each paired with the sea creatures—contrastingly lined up side by side for personal tasting. A fun, communicative way to enjoy the passion for seafood authentically "à la française."

Experience the lobster number either in our “Tasting Room” in Cologne or at a variety of other locations in Germany and Europe ( see event calendar ), lively moderated by the international oenologist and wine & food edutainer Roland Birr.

In our tasting room – or at your own location – the “Lobster Number” can also be booked individually for private groups.
