Fantastic fishing
We fish exclusively in prime stretches along the crystal-clear, emerald-green mountain rivers and chalk streams of the Sava Bohinjka, Soca, Idrijca, Ucja, Radovna , and Lake Bled . The selection of stretches offers both passionate fly fishermen and beginners an exceptional fishing experience in stunning alpine natural landscapes. Depending on your level of difficulty, we fish in different teams, from open streams and rivers to "climbing tours" over rock formations and suspension bridges on the Ucja. Our target fish are traditionally rainbow trout, brown trout , marble trout, grayling , and char . Depending on the season and the choice of water, we also fish for lake trout, huchen , and pike (Lake Bled).

Green Idrijca
The highly biodiverse Idrijca, with its distinct karst character and typical greenish color, flows in the Tolmin fishing district for over 16 km through densely forested banks, long, deep pools and sometimes rushing rapids into the Soca at Most na Soci .
Turquoise Soca
The Soca (Italian: Isonzo), with its roaring rapids and hidden, deep pools, is the largest mountain river here and originates in the Alpine Trenta Valley. In the upper Soca Valley, from the municipality of Kobarid onward, the river calms down again and flows gently over white gravel beds toward Tolmin. Here, chub and barbel join the salmonid species .

Gebrigsbach Ucja
The Ucja mountain stream, a 6 km long, flows from Italy into the Soca River, a difficult-to-access mountain stream. The Ucja is home to wild trout , bullhead , and, in the lower reaches before its confluence with the Soca, grayling . Fishing in the Ucja River is a challenging adventure, requiring a healthy physical condition, given the climbing over rock formations and crossing suspension bridges.
Marmorata trout
The mountain rivers Soca, Idrija , and Ucja belong to the Tolmin Fishing District. This is home to the county's most attractive species, the marbled trout (Salmo marmoratus). It is also the largest trout species in the region, growing to a length of 120 cm and capable of reaching weights of over 20 kg.

ice-cold Radovna
The crystal-clear glacial stream Radovna originates below Mount Triglav, Slovenia's highest peak, and winds its way through the Vintagar Gorge until it empties into the Sava Dolinka. The Radovna River carries ice-cold water, which remains below 9°C even in summer. Due to the abundant population of aquatic insects, the fish population is plentiful. Target fish include brown and rainbow trout.
Lake Bled
Fly fishing is generally done with flies (nymphs, dry flies, streamers). Spinner fishing is also possible in selected areas. On and around Lake Bled, fishing is possible from the shore, but also from a boat or belly boat .

Hucho hucho
At our December camps, we fish for the huchen , the king of rivers, in the gorges and wild rivers of the Sava Bohinjka under a full moon. Endurance and pure winter action are the order of the day.
Accommodations
Our "Base Camp" - a spacious, fully equipped, Slovenian house - is idyllically situated above Lake Bled in the mountain village of Zgornje Gorje
