National Park
The Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park is a unique natural paradise. It covers an area of 786 square kilometers, more than 80 percent of which is water. The diverse landscape includes parts of the open Baltic Sea, shallow coastal waters, lagoon waters, as well as moorland and heathland, as well as pine and beech forests. Due to the varying salinity of the waters, various animals and plants live there, representing an unusual biodiversity.
Fly & spin fishing
The Baltic Sea island of Rügen offers exceptional fishing conditions for both fly and spin fishermen. The Baltic Sea itself, with its naturally low salinity, provides an ideal habitat for sea trout, especially in the northern and eastern parts of the Bodden chain.
The shallow, bay-like coastal waters, partly separated from the Baltic Sea by islands or peninsulas, are called "Bodden." They are rich in nutrients and have even lower salinity than the Baltic Sea coastal waters. The freshwater areas fed by the region's rivers have high populations of pike, zander, and perch.

Pike in the Bodden
The fishing grounds of the island of Rügen are considered among the most important predatory fish areas in Europe. The lagoon areas of Kubitz, Schaprode, Jasmund, and Greifswald are home to a large pike population, some of which are very large. When hunting Esox lucius, we primarily follow the seasons, the salinity of the water, the wind direction, the subsurface conditions, and, of course, the water level.
Sea trout
The "silver of the Baltic Sea" is perhaps one of the most precious fish in the coastal waters north and east of the island of Rügen. Hot spots include the cliffs from Dranske via Cape Arkona to Juliusruh, as well as the stretches between Glowe and Lohme.

Fisherman's House Camp
Our "base camp," authentic Rügen on the Schaproder Bodden. The fully equipped "Fischerhaus am Foker Strom" (fisherman's house on the Foker Strom) is located on the island of Ummanz in the western part of Rügen, idyllically situated in the heart of the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park.
Camp accommodation

Boats & Guides
Experienced guides from our partner and friend Mathias Fuhrmann's "Bodden Fishing Team" assist us with extremely maneuverable 19-foot aluminum boats (Kaasboll boats) specially designed for fishing in the Bodden and Baltic Sea. For fly fishing, we fish with a maximum of two anglers per boat. For spin fishing, we fish with a maximum of three anglers per boat.
Camp kitchen
In our Culinary Fishing Camps, we combine our passion for fishing, nature, and its products with authentic outdoor cooking—always paired with great wines from around the world and handcrafted gins. Venison, beef, lamb, fish, seafood, and vegetables are cooked over the fire—depending on the season and market availability.

All contents and services described above are included in the “all inclusive” price of the trip without exception.
