Caselletti Appassimento is a rich and full-bodied red wine from Italy, produced using the traditional "appassimento" method. The grapes are first partially dried, which concentrates aromas and produces a deeper, more intense wine. The wine has a deep ruby red color and offers luscious aromas of ripe black cherries, plums, raisins, and a hint of chocolate, with subtle hints of spice and vanilla from the oak aging.

On the palate, the Caselletti Appassimento is full and smooth, with a silky texture and ripe tannins. The wine boasts an excellent balance between fruity sweetness and light acidity, resulting in a long, rich finish. It pairs perfectly with hearty meat dishes, game, grilled vegetables, and mature cheeses.

Caseletti

Caseletti was born from a fertile union between Mother Earth and a love of tradition. Puglia, a crossroads of people and cultures, unique in its authenticity, shines through every single drop that flows from our oak trees. The nectar of the gods is expressed here in all its typical qualities.

For decades, the strong arms of our farmers and the acumen of our oenologists have turned dreams into reality. A unique, authentic, and recognizable wine that smells of earth and sweat, warm hands, and the scent of materiality.

Caseletti is born from the fusion of tradition and innovation. A company unique for its craftsmanship and the creative minds who give their best every day.

Apulia

The region of Apulia (Italian: Puglia), with its capital city Bari, lies deep in the south of Italy on the Adriatic coast. This elongated region consists of the spur (the Gargano Mountains) and the heel (the Salento Peninsula) of the boot. The name derives from the Apuli, a tribe of the Oscan people. The area is one of the oldest wine-growing regions in the world, with the Phoenicians and Greeks planting vines here as early as 3,000 years ago. The Romans particularly valued the wine from Tarentum (the port city of Taranto), and the poet Horace
(65-8 BC) described the area as a place of "eternal spring." The Hohenstaufen Emperor Frederick II (1194-1250) was King of Sicily from 1198 and spent 28 years in Italy. Near Bari, he had the Castel del Monte built with an octagonal main building, around which eight equally octagonal towers are grouped.
