Aix Côte de Provence Rosé, 2024, 3.0 l

AOC area in the west of the French wine-growing region of Provence, named after the city north of Marseille. In the 15th century, Aix-en-Provence was a stronghold of the arts under the "wine-growing king" René of Anjou (1409-1480), and the wine from this region was already famous then. The Count of Provence earned his name from the introduction of wine to the French court. The painter Paul Cézanne (1839-1906) spent a large part of his life in the city and immortalized the landscape in his paintings. Southeast of the city lies the small AOC area of ​​Palette. The vineyards cover around 3,800 hectares in 49 municipalities.
